New painting for the National Cultural center
I am presently working on a 15ft. x 8ft canvas which will behung at the National Cultural Center. The canvas depict Water Spirits..Oriyu -Arawak water spirit, Ganga - Hindu water spirit, and Water Mama - general name for water spirit. The large Arawak house at the Sophia Exhibition Center is used as a studio.
Lokono Arawak Artist and Archaeologist, Associated Fellow Researacher at the University of Guyana. Holds a B.A Fine Art(Hons)Portsmouth, U.K and M.A in Field and Analytical Techniques in Archaeology from University College, London.
