Carifesta - Child art

For the past month children have been gathering at the sea-wall to paint. This is a UNICEF sponsored programme and the plan is to have children from all walks of life cover the front of the sea-wall with their art-work from Sheriff street to the Conversation tree. Parents accompany their children to the site where they are welcomed by the project director Michael Khan who provides them with the necessary tools to execute their paintings.UNICEF in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports have provided funds to purchase art materials, meals and snacks for the participants.
