Palace of the Peacock - Homage to Wilson Harris
A mural was painted on the wall of the Art Department, University of Guyana during the recent West Indian Literature Conference. The mural is entitled "Palace of the Peacock - Homage to Wilson Harris"
George Simon was assisted by art student, Anil Robets in the execution of the mural.
Lokono Arawak Artist and Archaeologist, Associated Fellow Researacher at the University of Guyana. Holds a B.A Fine Art(Hons)Portsmouth, U.K and M.A in Field and Analytical Techniques in Archaeology from University College, London.

2006 Banks Brewmasters Painting Award, First Prize.
